Meet My Mr.

So I thought I would do a special post on my beloved. 

When I met him, he was 18 and I was 17. We started dating about 2 months after we met. We dated for 3 years and we will be married 4 years on November 3rd. We were married young, people didn't believe we knew what we were doing but boy I love proving them wrong. We both knew very early in our relationship that we were the "One". 

He  honestly is my first and only true love. He is my best friend and is a wonderful husband. He is the nicest and sweetest person I have ever met. I honestly don't think he has ever had a true enemy.  He is seriously the smartest person I know. For his age he has accomplished alot in his field of work.

I say he's wonderful for many reasons, most of which have nothing to do with his technical savvy, the main reason being that he's a loving, caring husband. I think alot of people only see him has a tech geek and not the true person he is. I did not fall in love with the geek I fell in love with the man inside. The man that is senstive to people's feelings, love for all people, and the Lord. He is a man that always cares and always tries to make things better and brighter for people.

I thank God everyday for Jarod. It is hard to put into words how grateful I am for him and how blessed I am to be  his wife. 

Thanks honey for being who you are and loving me like you do.

J&K Back In The Day

I have been going through a lot of our pictures and scanning them into the computer so that we will have back ups. I thought I would share a few pics of us when we were little.

Cheerwine Doughnuts

A night or so ago Jarod and I were coming home from Lowes and I told him that we should go to Krispy Kreme for a doughnut. I didn't tell him that I knew that the limited time only Cheerwine doughnuts were there. We had missed them last year when they came out. So I knew during the summer months I had to keep a look out  for when they would be available. 

They are only available in North and South Carolina during the month of July. Some grocery stores carry them and select Krispy Kreme stores carry them also. You can just check their website to see if they are in your area. The doughnut is filled with a Cheerwine flavored cream, topped with chocolate icing and red and white sprinkles. Now I enjoy a good Cheerwine every now and then, but I thought this was just a gross doughnut! I really don't know what I was expecting them to taste like but it was just a weird combination to me. Jarod loved them though. Which I was pretty sure he was going to and is all that matters. 

Welcome to the Computer Family

Last night we went to the Apple store to  pick up a Mac mini to add to our computer family..

I have already upload our photos to iphoto so hopefully this will make  blogging a lot easier than using my so slow Macbook.
